These terms apply to all services provided by 0to1.nl
Services
0to1.nl provides infrastructure consulting, platform engineering, and technical training services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each engagement are defined in a separate written agreement or statement of work.
Quotes and Proposals
Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise specified. Prices are exclusive of VAT (BTW) unless stated otherwise.
Payment
Invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date. For longer engagements, invoicing occurs monthly unless agreed otherwise.
Late payments may incur statutory commercial interest as permitted under Dutch law.
Intellectual Property
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise:
- Pre-existing materials — Tools, scripts, and methodologies I bring to an engagement remain our property, though clients receive a perpetual license to use them
- Open source — Any open source components retain their original licenses
- Deliverables — Clients receives a perpetual, worldwide license to use deliverables for their internal business purposes. I retain the right to showcase work done for clients in portfolios or case studies, unless confidentiality is requested.
Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential. We won’t share details about your infrastructure, business, or projects without permission.
We may mention that we’ve worked together (client name only) unless you prefer otherwise.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement in question. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages. We carry professional liability insurance appropriate for the services provided.
Cancellation
Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days written notice. Work completed up to the termination date will be invoiced.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this website at the time of engagement applies.
